Pump Leaking

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is having a safe and healthy Memorial Day Weekend. General Pump is leaking oil from a location in the rear. Having trouble finding the leak but there is one because of the oil residue directly below the pump on the deck of my trailer. But......
I check the dipstick of the pump and it reads full. Cleaned up the spill, did a job, spot reappeared. Checked dipstick at a later time and it read full. What can it be?

Do you have a picture of the pump so Iwe can get a better idea what might be happening?

It is not uncommon for the oil sight glass plug on the back of pumps to come loose and leak oil.

If allowed to go uncorrected you may lose the pump.

In most case simply tightening the plug / sight glass will do the trick.
