True Walter, nothing is free.
If the PWNA will benifit from my membership than they can pay me for joining. Name one organization that pays its members to join please.
I am not joing to be all I can be. even more true, only you can be all you can be, not I, not our President nor your wife or girlfriend can do that for you.
I am in business to make money and will do anything to make money and build the business. As we all are Walter, unless your a mulit-millioneer needing a tax write-off.
If I am joining an association, I will suck every living thing from it that I can to make money and build my business.Lovely attitude, so what about your customers, are they sucking everything out of you they can at the lowest rate they can squeeze from you?
If their is anything left I will continue to pay my dues. This contradicts you saying that they have to pay you to join, right?
Either it is worth it or it is not. From the outside looking it nothing is as it is from the inside looking out
Its not the responsibility of members to create a good association it is the people who are in charge to ensure how members are to make it a good association by bringing them together and creating agendas, workshops, programs, websites, etc. Now here Walter is where that saying "it takes members to build an organization, those in charge are like you and I, business owners in business to make money, the difference is they want to improve the PWNA so they join and offer help in any way they can. What no one can do other then talk is convince non members as yourself to join and help it become the organization for pressure washers around the world as well as locally known.
None of the organizations you know of start up and become known instantly, it takes members, work and more work and even more members to get there. Sure some types of Orgs grow faster and larger then others. Some are better known, if only every pressure washer in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and other countries knew about it and if the PWNA had the resources to advertise it would grow faster.
It still takes members to get there, join for two years, part with a few of your hard earned dollars and help it get there, then if your not satisfied after two yours don't renew, but remember you have to help someway or another.
