Oasis Pressure Cleaning is a member in good standing of PWNA.

Now Dan S. two things, one if your truly sick and tired of this subject just do not reply to any post concerning PWNA.

Two why not change your attitude and join and offer whatever you can to help it grow and become a true pressure washing organization.

Surely you can afford a few tax deductable dollars a year.

Dan I am surprised you have not figured it out yet, I don't like to brag and I never say things I cannot back up, if I do not know about something I don't talk about it. ya talk the talk but dont walk the walk Ok Dan S. do you still feel I talk the talk but don't walk the walk? (now that must be a Southern saying since I have never heard that out West).

Dan, DAN DAN you can close your mouth now, I'm sure the shock has worn off now that the cat is out of the bag.

Did you have anything else to say about the PWNA other then you are going to become a proud member too?

I expect to see you as a member very soon, come on Dan cross over and show you have what it takes, help make it what it can be.

Well have you sent your check in yet?

Way to go Jon. You just showed that you not only talk the talk but you can walk it to.

The more you put into the PWNA as in anything in life the more you will get out of it. That is the key which I knew you had known all along.

Tim Smith over on PWI brought up a great point about this in the Powerwashing section under the thread "PWNA looking for Mods".

Since you are a fellow PWNA member we are actually helping each other out because we are helping the same Organization that is trying to help us.

Good Job

Listen, You join (pay) for benifits. If the PWNA will benifit from my membership than they can pay me for joining. I am not joing to be all I can be. I am in business to make money and will do anything to make money and build the business. If I am joining an association, I will suck every living thing from it that I can to make money and build my business. If their is anything left I will continue to pay my dues. Either it is worth it or it is not. Its not the responsibility of members to create a good association it is the people who are in charge to ensure how members are to make it a good association by bringing them together and creating agendas, workshops, programs, websites, etc.

True Walter, nothing is free.

If the PWNA will benifit from my membership than they can pay me for joining. Name one organization that pays its members to join please.

I am not joing to be all I can be. even more true, only you can be all you can be, not I, not our President nor your wife or girlfriend can do that for you.

I am in business to make money and will do anything to make money and build the business. As we all are Walter, unless your a mulit-millioneer needing a tax write-off.

If I am joining an association, I will suck every living thing from it that I can to make money and build my business.Lovely attitude, so what about your customers, are they sucking everything out of you they can at the lowest rate they can squeeze from you?

If their is anything left I will continue to pay my dues. This contradicts you saying that they have to pay you to join, right?

Either it is worth it or it is not. From the outside looking it nothing is as it is from the inside looking out

Its not the responsibility of members to create a good association it is the people who are in charge to ensure how members are to make it a good association by bringing them together and creating agendas, workshops, programs, websites, etc. Now here Walter is where that saying "it takes members to build an organization, those in charge are like you and I, business owners in business to make money, the difference is they want to improve the PWNA so they join and offer help in any way they can. What no one can do other then talk is convince non members as yourself to join and help it become the organization for pressure washers around the world as well as locally known.

None of the organizations you know of start up and become known instantly, it takes members, work and more work and even more members to get there. Sure some types of Orgs grow faster and larger then others. Some are better known, if only every pressure washer in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and other countries knew about it and if the PWNA had the resources to advertise it would grow faster.

It still takes members to get there, join for two years, part with a few of your hard earned dollars and help it get there, then if your not satisfied after two yours don't renew, but remember you have to help someway or another.

Walter your right, I won't totally blow a head gasket, after all the wife has plugged it often enough to have it leak without any help!

I am totally aware many will never join, not just the PWNA but in all trades many will not join their ORG.

Some simply because they don't or cannot afford to, others because they can get the same or better deals alone and others because they just don't believe in joining anything.

Dan S, when I first got into this business I joined the PWNA, stays 2 years then dropped out for the very reason many others did or don't join, none or very few benefits.

I have seen now that they are changing, slowly but surely I do feel it will become what it should be.

If as others say a few years, one, two, three or whatever number I chose nothing changes and I am not able to offer or help it climb that ladder I might not renew but I will give at least 2 years or more.

Nothing is perfect, no person, not group, no ORG.

I am not perfect and I am the second to admit it, ask the wife, she is first!

We can continue another time, family is here and I am needed to cut a HAM, YUMMY.

The simple point Jon was trying to make was that if EVERYONE adopted Walter's attitude on associations, the PWNA would not exist at all!

Some of us like to help, others like to stand and watch and wait to be impressed, and that's fine.

Walter, I look forward to the day when you join the PWNA. We're working on making it worth your while............but it takes time and energy. Its a task that would be easier with more help, and with less of the hands off approach............

Only time will tell if we can pull it off, but we sure will try!
