PWNA/Miami, Room rate reduction

For those of you considering going to the PWNA's 10th Annual convention in Miami this Jan 28-Feb1 . I've got some gtreat news.
The PWNA has convinced the Hotel( Renaissance Miami Biscayne Bay) to lower ther room rates from $169.00/night to $117.00/night. a savings of $52.00/night.

I am new to the game and didn't even know about a convention. Can you send me something about what happens at these conventions and maybe where the one will be next year, so i can make some plans. I am sure a plane ticket would be a little expensive if I were to get it now. Thanks.
