Question before starting business

I start work a noon,I start getting ready around 11:00 Know I shouldn't start at a house washing job till at least 8am.Would this power wash business idea work with that little of time in the morning?
I can't do weelends as I am involved in the local stock car track.
Don't want to spend big money for a business I don't have time to do a great job at.Will have insurance.
There are days where I start work earlier so this is going to be a part time business only.
If you think I have time for this what power washer would you recommend?
A friend of mine told me to rent one when I get work if I am not doing this all the time.
My dad told me to mow lawns.
What do you think I should do?

Got to drive home from the job then unload all your equipment there's 1/2-45 min. or more providing nothing unexpected happens.
Then you got to hope your p/w,hoese,ect.don't
give you any trouble.
Don't forget, mite have to move stuff out of your way or cover plants ect.up before you start.
These are things that could happen.
Unless your really good and fast your going to be cutting this close for time and you still better hope nothing breaks or your out of time.
Go for your dads idea, mow lawns.Around here 1 guy w/36"or 48"mower gets 35-40 bucks a lawn spends about 1/2-45min.Mow 3 lawns make 105-120 bucks and it wouldn't even be 10:00.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree I don't think that is enough time to do much work. By the time you get to the job site, unload your equipment, get the job done, load back up, get home, unload again, shower, then get to work on time, it would be tough to do in that time span. Also what if a job is taking longer than expected do you leave the job not complete? or go to your other job late?

I have a friend who is a landscaper and to do a "landscaper" quality of work for $35 a lawn, your going to be dishing out some money for a good blower, line trimer, and like stated above a 36" or 48" walk behind mower at the very minimum. and even a trailer. all of this for cutting 3 lawns a week for $100?

If i were you i would just get a desent cold power washer and just do what you can handle on your days off for some extra cash.

Not trying to flame at all, just trying to give some helpfull input. hope it helps

If you can arrive on site at 6:45 get started at 7:00 that would give you about 3 1/2 hours of wash time while still alowing plenty of time to drive home unload equipmnet shower and go to work. This is not going to be somthing you want to try to do in that short a time frame. Some houses can be done in 2 hours, some can take 6 hours, and as stated above, if that is the case, you would have to pack up the job site incomplete and come back the next day (or the next day you have available). Most customers are not going to be to keen on the idea of it taking 2 days to finish a 1/2 day job. The other problem is that it would take you forever to even cover the cost of the equipment you would need to get started, not to mention Insurance, advertising, supplies, chemicals.
