Rainbow In The Sky

Here is a picture I took the other night just after the rain. Last night we had such a storm with lightning and heavy rain for hours. This was the worst storm since I have been here in Florida.

Hi Anna,

Thanks for posting your Rainbow!

It usually stays cloudy around here (Central Illinois) after a storm, so we don't see very many rainbows.

Sometimes in the winter after a snow storm we might have a sunny day and the snow really Shines!

We all need to remember to look for these things when and where we can. Kinda like taking time to smell the roses!

I think your rainbow looks great Anna,its not offen you see a double like the one you posted.Most all our meaner storms comes at night,we get to see several rainbows every year.We have several little short thunderstorms with bright blue skys fallowing them making it hot and steamy this time of year.Its not uncomman to see several thunderheads building each day,some towering high into the sky and some of the colors they bring forth is outstanding as they disappear into the night.
