Removing fly "poop" from vinyl siding

Does anyone have any suggestions to remove fly "poop" from vinyl siding ?? I completed a job today (white siding) that looked great when it was done, except for the areas around the lights where the flies seem to do "their business". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure it's fly poop? Fly stuff looks very similar to artillery fungus - which is a total nightmare to attempt to remove. If Mark's suggestion doesn't work for removal ( ) Scratch at it. If the little black spot comes off but leaves a brown residue, you have artillery fungus. Since you've indicated that it's only around lights though, as oposed to all over the siding you may be in luck
