Removing lime stains

Does anyone know how to remove lime stains from dryvit and cement? I had a situation that a copper roof had bled green on the dryvit and on the top of a limestone staircase. I applyed CLR numerous times, let dwell then rinsed but did not remove the stain completley. Also tried oxalic.

Prosoco and SureKlean sell products that will work. If you have a brick dealer near you, they should carry one, or both. Word of advice, follow the directions carefully and use your PPE.

It's not limestone staining, it's copper oxide. Oxcalic may work if you let it dwell longer, as oxcalic will eat most metal contaminants. This may be ok on the limestone steps, but may stain the dryvit. Test, test, test. Otherwise, a masonary cleaner (acid) will work at the right dilution rate. I know there are chemicals specifically for copper oxide stains, but you'll have to search. Again, you will need to test. Good Luck.
