Anyone have some good hints they want to share for removing mortar tags from a building 30’ high, Roger from Carolinaprowash told me a trick of a hoe attached to a Cares pole but I don’t have that wand, so just wondering if there are any more tricks out there thank you, Andy, God Bless

I do believe he meant Coress. The Coress is a nicely made all aluminum extention pole that sells for around $400+.

$400 + for a pole that is worth every penny. Anyone who has worked with an extension pole stretched out to 36 ft for any lenght of time knows firsthand how important rigidity and connectivity secureness is worth. When I, all 5'4" and 130 lbs of female, can handle it, it's worth it :)

LOL, yep Coress that is what I really meant, I didnt know how to spell that one, its out of my budget for right now but I will have to look into it when I get some more $, for now I am going to have to improvise, I wish I could get a lift but that is way out of the budget also, thanks for educating me on the spelling of it, :) , Andy

A 30 ft pole is not the answer, If you are on a construction site, and a JLG or other lift is there, maybe use it. You can clean brick at this distance I guess, and the job will look like crap. wand marks, residue left behind, not an even looking building, your goal working with a masonry contractor is to make them look great. no short cuts. Always clean the high side as you would the low side.

I always figure lifts into the bid if it is over 15' for brick. I make very good money doing the brick work. Usually 40 cents per sq. ft and then the lift is extra.
