Hey guys UMM can someone help me out on this one
I got a call from a property management and he stated to me he has 3 roofs that need to be done around 2000 s/f homes
now i dont want
to turn work away like i did last week for a 3500 s/f home 2 store
I dont like cleaning roofs its just not my thing but why pass on the work
what kind of price do you think i should give.
On a plus side I did pick up 5 arbys...and this roof gig in a days time
thanks for any input on the roof pricing...

jetstream,I don't like roofs that much either but if you can do them take them.when I do them to make it easy I charge 75.00 to 100.00 per hr.What process are you using to clean? I use pure sodium hypochloride low pressure and rinse low pressure being careful not to back yourself in any corner because after application of chemicals it gets real slippery. hope this helps. PS. HOWS THE WEATHER DOWN THAT WAY? LIVED THEIR IN ORLANDO ABOUT 4YR.

IT has been about 85 out warm but we had a warm winter as well
I have all the right stuff for the job and i have done roofs in the past
last one I did was tin step pitch and I fell off that suxs but I got back up and did the rest off the job.I really wash fleets of trucks they keep me working. like a home what maybe once a year wash maybe 2

I have a new trailer being made it will be done on 4/20 what a date
and work is picking up at a fast rate so I guess ill be on some roof tops soon
I was thinking around 15-20 a s/f so around 300 to 400 for a 2500 s/f roof
dose this sound fair? what do you think

jetstream1, Hope that doesn't happen often, that is the falling of thing.Man sounds painful.Nice weather down there,of course it is florida.Hey,were in florida are you central, north,or south? As for the sq. ft. thing as long as you can make about 100.00 hr.So based on the sq. ft. estimate if you can finish the job in three to four hrs. sound about right I would not go lower than that.On a different note I see you do fleet service I could use your advise on that.I had a customer who is a owner/operator could use some help on priceing and chemical app. because I have not cleaned rigs before. I recieved a little info from just for fleet forum but I can always use more thanks. chris

mark,Its a sleeper cab, no chrome royal blue in color, has a air spoiler on top.It is two feet longer than most according to owner because he has 53ft. trailer, but I beleive its just frame and not cab. Also It would take about 15min to get to trailer and 30min to get to the rig I'm guessing here because i haven't traveled it yet.I'm not sure how many times wether weekly bi-weekly,but from some of the input I recieved it could be hit and miss with individual owner/operators. email me at moorepowerwash@aol.com thanx ,chris.
