Scared of anything over 2 story's, what to do....?

I am biding a condo that is about 2 1/2 (about 30 feet in places over cement) story's and with to much of an incline for a lift. It's maid of Dryvit with some mold and mildew. I have to admit I am afraid of pulling the trigger on my gun on anything higher than I can safelly fall and only be mildly hurt, but I run in to this same problem quit a bit, even on some residential houses. I actually turned down a three story house on a hill because I couldn't figure out how to access it. If anyone has some experience in dealing with this your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeremy

Try an extension poll you can stand on the ground and wash 30ft up but your arms will get tired.

I can usually only get two story's at best with my 24 foot extension since you have to be at an angle to the wall (away from the wall a ways) you loose quite a bit of height. Thanks again Jeremy

Jeremy, You're a perfect X-Jet candidate. Go to the Xterior link at the top ot the BBS and click on, then click the X-Jet. There are three pictures of the nozzle in action.

Is it really feasable to clean dirty dryvit that is 30 feet off the ground with an x-jet alone? I am a firm believer in the x-jet, but that I would have to see.

What type of cleaner should be used? Something very strong, I presume.

Jeremy,

If you decide that this is something you can't comfortably do.....don't worry about it. Pass it up and move on. Make sure you get an x-jet anyway if you don't already have one.....It's an invaluable tool for house washing.

It's tough to turn down the work, but think about how much work you would have to turn down if you got hurt on this job.....

Whenever there is something I don't want to do......I trust my instinct and don't do it. My 2 cents...

Funny all the suggestions to get an x-jet, I just bought one! That was the only option I could figure so short of scaffolding I hope it works. Thanks Jeremy

I didn't mean to sound so negative about your product. I work for a company too but, you will never hear me advertize or permote it on this board. I'm not here to get customers. I'm here to help people with problems. And I am here for the entertainment and learning experience.
