simple green

Hello everyone!.

A question to those of you who power wash cars and/or trucks.....
- Can you mix some simple green into your soap solution to remove that film of dirt and pollution that inevitably gets on to cars after they have sat for awhile?. Or is simple green too strong of an agent?. My current soap just isn't strong enough to do a great job and I do not want to hand wash 100 cars if it can be avoided.
Hot water will be used as well.
An afterthought. Perhaps some of you use simple green in house washing procedures?.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.
Chris.

I have used simple green, but it never did quite enough for my applications.

I have found a great product that I have used for washing trucks. Mainly the interiors, I don't do fleet exterior washing. I started using it to remove milk residue and mold from the aluminum of the retail transport trucks. It is truly environmentally safe. It would remove the films without having to srub it. I went to using it as my primary degreaser as well for concrete floors.

The product is called SC1000. The company that makes it is GEMTEK products out of Phoenix. Their web site is: www.GEMTEK.com

Just my 2 cents worth.

I have been really happy with it. I use it for everything, even at home too.

becarfull mixing 2 dif. soaps together they may do just the opposite of what you may think....... read the m.s.d.s. sheet and or talk to your manufacter...................................

another thing just to make it alot easier on you .............find a soap that removes "road film" and also does a good job and save your self the hassel of mixing.................

there is alot of soaps out there that works very well and is inexpensive........................good luck!!!!!!!
