Any-body else a lil slow? or has it been busy for ya all summer?

Okay now with that said what is the best way to market a new area ? Paper? cold calls? ( which I hate )

It slowed down a little bit this afternoon from about 1:15 - 3:00pm then it started to pick up again, so I went home for some R & R.

Yeah your at that age,,,,GO getEM tiger as for me.I plan June,July,August and Septmeber to be slow,I only want to work weekends in those months.I keep two grandsons June,July and half of August,I need the other half and September to rest up after trying to keep up with them .I'll do my best to fish every other day until October or just goof off.

i have started a web site a few mos ago , it has paid for its self!

i talked to guy he said 80% of his business is from the web !
he sael equipment for a new line of work i wont to get in!

I've also been getting into small phone books , that only covers any were from 60,000 to 90,000 books the cost for a 1" plus 4 or 5 free listings is anywere from $90 to $150 per year . when its out of your area they will give it to you at half price , sometimes!

Have you tried the Yellow pages?? I have been extremely busy April,May,June,July and August so far. It think the reason I've been so busy in July and August compared to not as busy in years past is because I took a 1/4 page add out in the Yellow pages for $250/month for one year and it is really paying off. OF course the wording in this add is critical to my success.

I've been almost too busy since the first week of March with no let-up in sight! (Not that I'm complaining!)

The phone has slowed down on ringing the past couple weeks. Only signed two new jobs this week. But that's ok, because I've got 70 decks signed on contract due to start Sept 1, and I'm currently washing a large apartment complex that will take until the end of next week.

It has been a very good year all things considered!

My big brick jobs have been like non exsistant except for one I did in the spring. That even wasn't all that big. No $10,000 + jobs so far this year. Residential has been slow. Thank God for me getting into cars. That has saved me big time.

this may not be much to some, but for the little guy FYI, I have found a lot of interest in the cleaning of children's outdoor toys at daycare centers. I did one last weekend, estimated $225.00 for average amount of toys. The owner was so pleased, she paid me $450.00. Toys look new! rcpowerwashing
