Looking to start a house/mobile home softwashing business.I have read about it but need your help getting started. What chems to use,how to apply it and rinse it off? Have read where some use a pump up sprayer others use a chem tank with a pump mounted on there truck. The other question is do I bid this just like any other house wash job,the $1 lin.foot method.I see doing the s/w method there still brushing some areas.Seems to me if your chems are right you should'd have to.So how much extra should I charge? How do you do 2 story homes? That's all for now hope you can help me out, want to get going as soon a the weather brakes. Thanks,Tim

What the heck is "soft washing" ?

There are tools for you that will reach 2-3 stories................ and several different ways to apply them............

As far as a "pump-up" sprayer........... they work for the dudes who are starting out............ as for me they suck..........it's a pain in the Bumm to pump dat damn thing up and they only seem to work for a couple jobs.......then you can re-build `em or throw `em away.

Up- or down stram works better................ and the pump you are speaking about is a shure flow......12Volt sprayer......or flo jet ........ You can put your suction line in a container and then use couple hundred feet of 1/4 '' spray hose hooked up to a wand to apply chems.

as far as chems ............. do a search on here there is a few recipies Avail.

Thanks Dan,softwashing is where you don't use a p/w to apply the chems or rinse them off. The more I read about this the more I am not real sold on the idea.Going to read up on this more. Like the idea of a p/w +x-jet better.I have heard of he shur-flo pumps.
