Sprayer Recomendation

Hi all !
Perhaps you can give me some advice on what type,size etc sprayer to use if I want to spray sealer on to brick pavers rather than use the time consuming roller method. Are ther any pros and cons to using a sprayer, I have been told that I will use a lot less sealer that way. Your comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Hey ken welcome to the board
WE have a 12 volt 14 gal sprayer paid 130.00 that
would be ideal for applying sealer. we also added 50ft of extra hose for ours and have had it about a year with no problems, we got ours at a farmers co-op. we think they have them at home-depot,hope this helps.

I would lean towards an actual airless sprayer. A good electric one, is the Titan Epic 440hp. Put a 100 feet of hose on it with a 2-3' extension wand, a Grac contractor series gun with a RAC5 tip setup and your good to go. But, you will need 110v. power source, and part with about $975.00 of greenbacks. This will give a good even, steady flow at the tip for a consistent coverage of product. Less chance of "holidays" and "runs".

I use Graco XR9 on decks, concrete sealing, and any painting jobs I can spray... Home Depot $679.00.
Extras such as tips and extra line and guns will cost you, as will extensions and any other toys.

I have and still do use all other methods dependant to the application and surroundings. That includes brushes, rollers, pads,etc.etc.etc......

As for using "less product", it is different per type of brick. I don't use petroleum based sealers, therefore, I have different saturations per brick manufacturer.

I have not seen any two jobs turn out the same,... do what is best for you. But I will say the airless sprayer has saved my big chunky butt many times with time.
