steel comb for brushes on surface cleaner

I have been looking for a steel comb to use when I clean my surface cleaner brushes but have not found one.

Do any of you either have one or know where I can buy one?

I rinse it every time I use it but want to clean the circular brushes better getting all the hair and other things out of it. I like my equipment to look good all the time.

How do you guys and gals clean yours, or don’t you bother cleaning them?

The easiest way that I have found, is when you are shutting things down for the night, before you turn off the PW, turn the spinner over and blast the heck out of the brushes and the undercarriage. This actually removes alot of the debris all by itself. When I get home and it has dried out, I take an angled dental pick, and take the time to pull everything out by hand. Kind of pain staking, but it works. I also found the pick works great for replacing o-rings faster. I have had the same spinner since 1995, and have never replaced the brush kit. I also tear the nozzles apart and clean out the grease and other debris with the pick and a Q-tip. So, believe me I understand about wanting to have your equipment look good; And it stays running better, longer...:)
