i am about to purchase a surface cleaner, i have a 3000 psi 4.5 gpm hotsy machine. I am stuck between steel eagle 24" or the whisper wash 24" or whisper wash big guy 28" . will my machine have enough gpm & psi to spin the 28" sufficiently? any opinions please?

Mark:

Is there a way to purchase just the handle? I have a 28" steel eagle with the single handle, and I don't the handle!

Thanks!

[GLOW=blue]Yes you can order the U-Handle, you will need to drill the deck for it.[/GLOW]

I just bought a 28 " big guy 2 weeks ago and love it! I have a 18" whirl-a-way with casters I like it but dislike the casters. I bought the big guy to do 77,000 s.f. of concrete parking lots [5] The big guy worked great easy to push.I have a 5.5 GM 3500 psi machine. Make sure you match the tip size to your psi/gpm mike b

Hey Mark, I clicked on the link in your message above...the page had the 24" and 30" Steel Eagle surface cleaner being priced the same at $795. Was this a mistake?

I was looking into a 30". however I've decided to go with a 24" since there may be a lot of walkways and tight areas that the 30 will be too large for.

Anyway, the two 24's that I'm considering are:

Steel Eagle (2 nozzle)
Hydro-Force

Question...I've heard a lot of good things about the Steel Eagle, but not much about Hydro-Force. Anyone have an opinion? This particular 24" Hydro-Force is advertised as "versatile" since it can be used on wheels OR hover-style. See link below...

Any suggestions/advice???

Also, I want to point out that the price of the Steel Eagle on the link I've attached is only $3 less than the quote I got from Tiffany @ EasyCLean, yet probably a lot more for shipping. That being said, if I go with the Steel Eagle, I will plan on purchasing it from EasyClean.

Bryan,

I don't know how far you are from me, but you'd be welcome to stop by and test drive my 30" Steel Eagle that I got from Mark last year. Mine looks exactly like the pic above.

My equipment is in Lincoln Park. You could try it on a driveway and sidewalk. Right now I'm thinking about adding a smaller surface cleaner, like a 16". There are uses for different sized surface cleaners. I can see a need to have two surface cleaners.

Tony,

Thanks, that would be great. I tried to e mail you about a month ago, through this website, but I don't think you got it.

Please send me an e mail with your contact information and maybe we can set someting up for when this snow clears up.

FYI...I'm about 15 minutes north of Lincoln Park and 40 minutes from Riverview.
