Thanks Jim...like I said I haven't even tried it or plan on in the near future! Just been sitting in the garage and thought I would throw the subject out there and see what people thought about it. I guess I will find some use for it...LOL
Hope it was given to you as a demo. I doudt it's worth anything more than it's scrap price on aluminum.
I (we) run our spinners along the edge and never miss a spot. Who cares about kicking up a little debris from the edges ? We still need to rinse, and all the 90 degree corners still need to be done with the wand (we do this as we rinse).
The guy running the spinner down the straight sidewalk was purposely missing the edge (attempting to give the "assumption" it is not possible to catch the edges with a spinner). Insulting to any real PW contractor.. But what do I know, pet rocks sold well, for awhile.
I saw this on CL for $120 recently, and its $159.99 on their site. This should really be marketed to the homeowner at HD. For $50 it might make a neat demo tool, however I think it would get "lost" in most Pro's rigs and my guys would propably think I'm losing it.
Yeah, my wife would say "you and your gadgets" after she saw it sitting in the rafters of my barn and never being used. That's where all the stuff goes that I buy and is a waste of money.
I have mixed feelings about it. There are many resi applications where it would come in handy. It looks like it would prevent mulch blowout. A quick coupler and a ball valve would make switching quick and simple.
Never had a ball valve that didn't require a hammer to turn it. I must be getting the wrong ones. I've tried three over the years, and all three were very hard to turn.
Where you buying yours at Doug? Mine are easy to turn....bought em from Mark...I left one in AZ along with my favorite gun :smad:

I found one in Arizona Doug. Real nice and shiny.
