Surface Washer Pricing

I am looking at buying a surface washer and trying to use it with the washer i have now. Its a 3100 psi @ 2.5 gallons per minute. I am hoping i can run a surface washer with it. Even if it I have to buy a smaller surface washer. Any advise on this would be great? Should i try and buy a smaller unit?

My main question here is what are we charging when using the surface washer on interlocking brick driveways, pool deck patios, walkways, etc ? Do you charge by the hour, by the square foot?

Thanks

Steve

Start out with a 18-20 inch surface cleaner with the unit you have
after you start making money invest to a big unit 5-8 gal per min and the surface cleaner will move faster then....With the 2.5 gal it will go a little slower but will save on your back and wand marks

Got a 16" surface washer today...

Hey I got a BE 16 " surface washer today. I used it on my cement patio and it worked great. Then I carried it up to the roof and try it and it worked great as well. The only thing i do not like about it is that it has no wheels. Just brushes and its a little harder to move back and forth. I may place some wheels on it so i can use them when washing a roof.

This really opens up the market for me.

Looking forward to this week.

Thanks Steve

Funny I'm reading this now. I walked about 4000 sq ft of roof last weekend and did it with the wand my body was SORE came across a web site the other day and showed a guy using the Be surface cleaner on a tile roof so I went to my equipment dealer today as he sells them so I asked him to try one out WoW worked great will be using it to finish this job.dh

Guys never use a surface cleaner on a roof you are destroying the roofs you all did! Never ever power wash a roof! The roofs you all did you proably ruined that roof for the home owner and dont be suprised if you get suied in the next year. Dont mean to be so blount

Of course you can clean a roof but never use a pressure washer or surface cleaner on one. I wasnt tryin to be a jerk or anything just hoping that they may learn and look more into roof cleaning the right way.

my surface cleaner has vacuum for reclaim. i really like the way it works except it runs so much water wide open that my vac system has a problem keeping up with reclaim. I can't imagine using such pressure on a roof surface... but hey, pressure washing business is a wide open arena...full of different gladiators.
