This was the first post I found on this bb about 9/11. A few of us were on that day but Beth was the first one that I found with a direct post dealing with what happened on that tragic day, http://www.powerwashnetwork.com/shoot-bull/3230-dc-new-york-roll-call.html

There were only a few people responding to this bb back then because it was in its infancy so you would see only a few post per thread and in this case there were none. As I read thru a couple of them you can see how we were concerned about each others wellfare and also in the status of our Country. Tough times and to read some of the post back then here it brings back chills. Mark from Easy Clean and Jon from Oasis Powerwashing(Who since has retired and is now in an online book business. He stays connected with me thru Linkend) brought up some heart felt post and Mark brought up some wild pictures of our national Bird the Bald Eagle with a tear in its eye. Its nice to Know that some of us back then are still here, The message I guess besides all the wealth of Knowledge you can find on this bb of course we should never forget that dreadful day and also the ones who died then and many years later like my Good buddy who died this past Christmas at 2 am after he set up all the presents. Just two days before he coached his 10 yr old daughters basketball game. Jim lived right around the block from me and his daughter is my 10 yr olds Best friend and who stays over at my house as many times as we can take her. Jim was a hero as all of our men and woman who were there to help the ones in desperate need. These guys and ladies are Heroes and for me personally I go to a couple of charity events in Jim's Honor every year. My Heart goes out to his family- Wife Magda,Sons Robert and Chris and to little Maddie Jim's only daughter who was about as close to a Dad as I ever seen a daughter to be. I've been to a few father daughter dances with her and her dad with me and my little one Brianna. This Christmas is going to be a heartbreaker for them and all of us who Jimmy has touched with his positive spirit in life and in Death. He is missed,He is loved and he is a Hero.
Death of 9/11 firefighter hero Jim Ryan overshadowed by 'flashier' Flight 253 terrorism story
Never forget.
