Ok I have a question about what i have been seeing. I just started in the business. The way i powerwash is i hit every single inch of what i'm cleaning. I have watched other guys just pour on a chemical and basically rinse it off. It dosn't seem effective to me. Am I going overboard? Or are the other guys just doing a knock off job, or is it the chems? I mean if i don't hit every square inch i can deffinatly see missed spots. I am only using crappy chemicals for now since i just moved to sw florida untill I can find a comercial supplier. thanks in advance

Everyones opinion will vary, but I personally do not relie on pressure as much as I do heat and chemical. When I use heat and a low pressure soap nozzle, most of the time I can just put the chemical injector into my fresh water tank and rinse off using low pressure soap nozzle. As for the hard and high reach places than I just use the xjet when needed. If your needing to use a 45 deg white tip or another on areas you just put chemical than something maybe wrong with your mixture. Now what I have pointed out is for vinyl or stucco siding. Brick can be a little different as so is concrete. Also for wood, you just need a good wood brightener and do not exceed the recommended psi on wood or you will just have that damage look. Hope that helps some.

I too, pressure wash every square inch of what i'm washing, chemicals will remove the loose stuff, but the pressure removes the stubborn stuff, and leaves siding with a bit of a shine. i even find myself doing some brushing on siding at times on really tough stains and build up. I've been doing this for over ten years and my customers are always pleased.
