I have heard numerous problems exist with t-stats on hot water pressure washers.

1. If so, what type of problems are encountered?
2. Is it preferable to have a one?
3. What would be a standard water temp setting?

First I heard that one they hardly ever go bad. The normal temp for a Hot Water Pressure Washer is 210 degF The only reason you would want one is to lower that temp or as a saftey device incase the temp gets to high. When the temp gets higher than that there is usually a flow problem with your Equipment and it is time for repairs.
