We're moving back to IL! Since we had Lanie and now Lee is cooking up another one. We decided that 2 years has been enough in the south. Back to the south suburbs of the Windy City  So our family can enjoy our children and we can have some family around.

We're leaving at the end of this month, Im going to get a job for the winter and start from scratch again. I sold my business to a guy when I left the first time. PA doesn't sound too bad, do they have running water there?

Dan,
I don't know what your background is, but a very good friend of mine owns a recruiting firm up in Chicago (schaumberg area). If you are looking for a job, I would be glad to hook you up with her. Email me or call me if you want the contact info.

Dan why so quickly? You sell the house already?

Sounds like your home sick for family and the blasterly cold winds from the north!

Having never been there I cannot really compare IL to TX.

Dan S. I don't think it was the water that helped them produce such a lovely baby but the stress from others to start a family and perhaps other things.

Best of luck to the four of you Dan Flynn.

How long might the board be offline if at all?

Dan, We all want some background now. Inquiring minds want to know. What brought you to TX? And why? We know why you are leaving. You are going to leave a void. Now you will always have a little Texan. As the saying goes, " I wasnt born here (Texas) but i got here as fast as I could."

Dan, I personally think your nuts! :) -- I keep telling my wife we're moving to Florida. Year round work and no snow... my kind of life. Although, I guess you don't realize what you have until you leave it behind.

If you hurry back you might catch some rays before the snow sets in. It a whole 65 degrees today :)

Good Luck,

Greg

Hate to hear your leaving such a fine state but you gotta go where the heart is happiest. Did the same thing about 4 years back.. moved from NC to TX then back a year later. Good luck and be safe.

Good luck Dan. Did the same thing when I was young - moved to New Orleans, then back to KY. Learned that you can take a girl out of the state one time - once she gets back home she'll never leave again.

Dave Olson,

<marquee>fall colors, what are fall colors?</marquee>

Ok we do have some trees that show color but nothing to brag about as the rest of the country does. Such a shame but would SMOG count as in blocking out the mountains when it is not burning?

I do love it here. It really is a great place to live. Other than the few months of hell (humidity)

Nice house for almost nothing! But it's boring without really having people that are close to you around.

Thanks Everyone :)

Just stay out of Hinsdale. I here that their houses are a little on the large side.

Good Luck. Nothing can replace family, especially if they are tight.
