Young lady says her hubby got mad and "peeled off" in the parking lot of apartment complex...leaving rubber 150 ft or so  ...Resident manager says get it off! She says it is on Asphalt.....I have not seen it yet...maybe concrete....Anyway I need some advice as to removing rubber from asphalt.
Thanks..

Bob,
If you have hot water it should take of the rubber without a problem.Cold water will take a long time to remove something like a rubber mark ,but it can be done.

Bob...

Get a hold of some citric acid, in the really tuff spots wet the area and then put the granuals on at full strength.

Doesn't matter if you use hot or cold water.

It does to matter with asphalt, don't turn the burner up to high or you will have worst probelms then the rubber there.

Keep it around 160° but don't dare go to 200°.

Thanks guys.....

I was thinking hot/warm water and just enough pressure as to not damage the asphalt...Hadn't thought of (didin't know) the citric acid part...have some and will give it a try....may turn out to be concrete anyway..plan to go today and look at it.....

Again thanks for the input.

Don't be surprised if the marks actually turn out to be melted right into the asphalt.

Other wise, I second Jon's suggestions.
