Thank

Tim,

That was very nice to take the time for this post. The weather pattern here in the east has been hell for some time now. The hurricane did more damage for me personally last week. However, we were scheduled to wash a house in Edgewater Park yesterday and the homeowner and I cancelled it until today. Wouldn't you know last night he calls and said that I don't have to worry about it right now much of his siding is off, loose, or hanging. He was working on getting repairs and clean up going. He happened to be in one of those area yesterday that got hit. For me they went north and south of me. What was amazing at looking at some of the footage on TV that no one was hurt.

Re: Thank

Your welcome Everett

It's almost or worse than the drought a few years ago when farmers sent hay to feed cattle and live stock in that area.

I know from all of you effected that kids are involved, and we as Dads are doing our best to support our and Families and during hard times we care about you folks! That are possibly in trouble as it is so easy to happen across the States no matter what area you live in. I here about some type of PW association I have not seen anything from them yet?

It kind of saddens me that seeing twenty something views on this thread and that no one else can post there concerns as well. But yet maybe the network has that covered with e-mails from inside relationships made from the wonderful BB members here.

I speak manly for the sole operators but the businesses that employ people are just as hurt.

Again I wish I was a philanthropist to take care of friends but thats not the case....

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by these recent storms. I am confident that many of the other here have similar thoughts / prayers but have not posted them here.

Hope things are back to normal there soon.

I live in Southeast Virginia and the damage from this storm has been amazing. Trees down everywhere. Across yards, on houses - what a mess. Siding, shingles and trees are now piled-up at curbs everywhere. As far as I can tell, few houses escaped with no damage. One week after the storm, there are still almost 400,000 without electric in SE VA and NE NC.

At our house, we lost some siding, some shingles and some trees, but not too bad. Still waiting for the insurance adjuster.

On a positive note, I am as busy as ever! I was scheduled to wash a house/roof/deck on the day the storm came (lol) and was able to do the work on Saturday. Their was a small hole in the roof where a branch went through, but the customer wanted it cleaned anyway. I was going to stuff the hole with plastic, but found a neighbor's shingle and was able to make a temporary repair. I am booked solid for the next 2 weeks. I have been getting calls form folks who just want the leaf debris removed from their siding.
