Some of my vehicles have magnetic stickers on there sides and some have permanent decals. Assuming that the trucks with the magnetic signs are on there is not so I can take them off for my other job,,,,even though I have done that in the past[one] There not there either so I can take them off when I park them in one of my residential driveways. Not a bad idea there. Not because there cheaper. Even though all of the above is true thats not the NUMBER 1 reason as to why I have these magnetic stickers that go on the door panels.

Anyone want to take a guess as to why I have those cheap magnets made for the side of my pickup truck??

I show you some pics of my truck over the years. Some have magnets and some have permanent decals.

So common this should be a ground ball.

Working on my first cup of coffee after a very long night. Still puzzled, but will keep trying to figure this one out before I catch some zzzz's.

I (we) do a lot of graffiti removal. Our wrap and company vinyl lettering is all permanently attached to our vehicles and trailers.

Pressure wand in one hand, Glock 22 on my hip and my trusty Glock 26 concealed, holstered in the small of my back.

Had a few punks walk or drive by talking smack, but am always prepared to defend myself, my family, employees and my equipment.

Nice set-up on that 1 ton red flatbed John. What it you total height ?

Hey Jim in this economy its smart that you carry to protect your family, yourself and innocent bystanders. Look what just happened in your state and they had to tacke the guy who was shooting people left and right.

I use to always carry and then I got comfortable and content in my ways...but that doesn't stop a nut job who may decide to shoot up a place when I'm there... or a more likely occurance getting held up by these crazies that this down economy will bring more of them out.

This Gun in this picture is one of the guns I have locked up. I may start carrying it since its light as heck and has plenty of firing power.

Nice !!!

The media is not and will not report this, but one of the men who tackled that nut job in Tucson was carrying. He explained, during an interview on one of our local Fox News channels that he made the conscience decision not to un-holster his (concealed) weapon, as there were too many innocent individuals in a chaotic situation, and found the opportunity to take down and disarm the homicidal lunatic.

Weapon and ammo sales went up 60% in the week following this tragic, senseless act, both in Phoenix and Tucson.

Sorry for the distraction from your original thread. Second cup of coffee almost consumed, and I still do not have the answer figured out. Maybe I need some sleep, instead of more coffee ???

Hey Jim--You may want to check your settings. I sent you a PM but it says you can't recieve PM's and it says its either by choice or your not allowed to..lol The settings have to be reset.

Thanks for the Heads up.

To clarify that picture its a generic one off the net of a similiar Firearm that I have. You would never want to expose your serial number and also don't ever try to alter your serial number on your firearm. Its a Felony to do so.

All this talk and pics about guns makes me want to go out and get one. I carry a club in the truck when I am washing.

Never really had any problems at night with people bothering me. The only issue I had was when I was washing for the Sahara in Vegas and they allowed me to to stage there around the loading dock. Come to find out there was a prostitute taking care of her business with a guy....[spin]

I think my PM setting are correct now John, thanks for the heads up.

No disrespect intended bud, I assumed you knew better that to expose any part of a serial number of any weapon you owned.

Hey John...I will take a wack at the quiz.

The reason you go with magnetic vs. wrap is that you sale your trucks all the time. With a magnetic you can just pop it on your new one that you get!!

Is this right...if so....what did I win??????????? :)

That Flatbed was under 7' in height and set-up to do Parking garages and such. I had almost every truck you can think of such as a 24' box truck and also a 16' box truck with an 8' sleeping kitchen area.. Been there and done that. I would recommend a flatbed truck every time especially a Ford f-550 like that one. The 650's are sweet but there to high to get into most garages.

Anyway back on topic..So why would my priority be to have magnetic signs on some of my trucks?????

So you can remove the magnetic signs when:

1. You are speedy through red light cameras and/or speed traps, or parking illegally (like using a fake handicap emblem).
2. Dumping dirty water
3. Stealing water from a fire hydrant
4. While transporting illegal aliens
5. While attending pro Obama rallies
6. While attending Tea Party events
7. When the Bat Phone or Green Hornet phone rings, you can find a phone booth and quickly change into your Super Hero costume and fight crime and rid the world of evil.
8. When you sub contract out to Pro Power wash.

One of these answers must be close. Please let me know if you need my mailing address to send the huge prize check.

So does anyone want to take a Guess as to why I use those cheap magnets for advertising on my pickups?? There is a main reason I'm looking for and it has something to do with traveling.

Because if your working in another city and the truck breaks down you can easily put your magnets on a rental truck?
