Travel Time

What are you guys charging for travel time and how. by miles or actual travel time? I have a job to bid on and i never charge travel time, but this is one of my main accounts and they want me to services thier other offices. thanks jonathan

Jonathan, I have minimums for certian areas.
I let them know up front what they are.
I factor travel and fuel into my mins.
Alot of times I tell them I'll bring my rig and if we can
agree on price I do it right then.

thanks for the reply. Its going to be a monthly account. so i have to drive to each location they are about 200-300 miles away from me.

Good luck with that. I hope it's a large project for that kind of travel.
