Treated Pine a Waste of Time?

So is it a waste of time to restore treated pine on decks? Is it accurate to assume people can replace the thing cheaper than getting it restored?

I'm seeing more treated pine decks around here than anything.

Hell no. You can make PTP look awesome.

A 16x12 deck might cost $575-$650 to strip/ph balance/, sand where neccessary and reseal with high quality sealer.

To rebuild that deck can cost anywhere from $3 k to 5k to rebuild then the customer still has to clean and seal it.
