Turbo's

Hi All,
I bought a new Turbo, used it one time for @ 2 minutes with too much heat. Yea I'm still kicking my own but. Anyway, the only thing that got screwed up was what I call the fan blades that slide on the plastic cone. I hate to buy a whole kit just for this plastic part. What I was wondering was if some of you have some old parts laying around that this piece still looks good on, and you don't mind doing a guy a small favor, maybe you could drop it in the mail. The Turbo is a Dirt Killer 4700 psi big head style. The nozzle size is 4.5. The internal part is red. Everything else is fine but that fan and ring that slides on the plastic cone shaft. I can email you my address, send you a self addressed stamped envelope, give you a few bucks, get you a date with my sister, well you get the picture.

Randy,
I tried for about an hour to post a picture. Just got a scanner but can't figure out how to get the scanned image to transfer to the posting. I'm still laughing by the way!

Hope you got my email. The Giant turbo nozzle holds up alot better. Try one if you get a chance.

Thanks Jaime,
Even if you don't find one, it's the thought that counts.

Hi Glenn,

We have found that the smaller size turbo's rotate faster(rated around 3000psi). They seem to clean better if they go faster!

The larger tips (rated 4000 and up) seem to really come in to their own at pressures above 5000 psi. We have done a lot of paint removal(industrial paint booths) using 5-6000 psi rated tips and running them up to 8-10,000 psi.

The smaller tips are also lighter and easier to work with when you are running them all day. The tip of choice for my guys(when cleaning equipment) is the Comet, 4.5,(3000 rated) running 3000 psi, 200 degrees.
