Hate to bust your bubble but that is NOT a good deal.

Trust me on my remarks as I put in 20 years in the uniform business, that is what they charge customers for lost and damaged uniforms.

A good deal from a uniform company would be $3 per shirt and $5 per pant.

Yes they can sell them that low but you have to understand they will not be perfect, might have grease spots, a dab of paint, hole someplace or whatever.

Same as the ones being sold by Cintas.

Just my 2 cents worth of solid advice on uniforms.

Mike I was not so much questioning you as I was surprised Cintas would sell thing, seems they have come a long ways in the 11 years I have been out of the business.

Could not find the same prices you did but with their web site as complex as it is might not be looking in right places.

What I did find and miss is where it says shop by brand, the best two brands of work uniforms are not listed, Red Cap and Work Wear and unless either of those two companies have merged or changed their name (which I highly doubt they would do) they make the top of the line work clothes.

Dickies is not bad but not top of line, you won't find Work Wear and Red Cap sold retail either but again things change over time.

I still say you can call any Industrial Uniform company in your town and ask them how much for a business to buy rather then rent, just let them know your not interested in a long term rental agreement.

Or another way is to ask for the local routesalesman to stop by your place, do not, I repeat do not ask for the Sales department, ask for service department or you will end up with some pushy salesperson who will tell you a bunch of fibs and say we don't sell, we only rent. yeah sure so whey then do they "sell" customers back damaged and old stuff?

Ok enough of my former life. Someday I might dig out that article I wrote for Cleaner Times about renting uniforms and re-publish it but would need to bring myself current on things in the industry today.
