Vinyl siding oxidation/chalk

I recently washed a house and encountered my first oxidation on the vinyl siding. I have washed many houses this summer and never have come across this so far. It has been over a week and I went back and some of the siding is streaked and the vinyl still has chalk on it. I have done some searching on the Board but there is very few posts on this subject. I am going back monday to try and fix the streaking and am wondering what I should do and what chemical/soap I should use. Thanks...

I do not know what you r using. After 24 yrs, and no probs with vinyl, I always use truck soap @ 50% mix. for tough dirt I do alum britener WEAK, inj down. One tip, be very careful on power washing. If you are sloppy and miss you aill get a bad job result. I use 15* noz. If it is streaked you have not been careful and injected too little det. and not hit all areas. vinyl should be the simple job, not as you described. 24 yrs washing

Baby Steps

Simplicity Is The Key To Washing. Use High Gpm's, Heat, Simple Chemicials And Before You Put The Super Strong Solution On The Stain Try A Sample Area.
Never Try To Wash Vinyl In Direct Sunlight With High Sumertime Temps. If You Can, Get Out There First Thing In The Morning Or During A Cloudy Or Light Rain Day.
If You Have Little Washing Experience Stick To Scrubing Stains Out With Mild Detergents. This May Be More Labour Intensive But The Risk Of Damage To Someones Home Is Greatly Minimised.your Clients Will Notice The Hard Work You Put Into The Job.
Practice Chemicial Usage On Products Where Damage Will Be Minimized, Ie. 15 Year Old Fork Lift.
Most Of All Have Fun And Smile. Washing Is An Art And Has A Huge Learing Curve. First Strive For Clean And Then Effeciency.
