Well....we picked up a Vacuum-Boom at a terrific price in Arizona a week or so ago and am looking forward to getting it out on the jobs. Mark, I will be calling you next week to discuss the hoses and etc. The unit that I purchased did not come with the hoses...which I am okay with.

When I was in San Diego attending the Sirrocco (sp?) Waste Water Training that was put on by NCE, Jerry handed out some attachments....kinda glad I picked one up.

Will be looking to add one in the future. Are you looking at sending the water onsite other than the drain? Keep us informed!!

Great News Carlos !!!

As you know, we have started construction on 4 more washers and 2 new filtration units. We are looking at the Hydro Tek RPBE1 unit. I am surprise at the low GPM's of the units. We may need to modify the unit or build our own again. We will need two of them. Who I buy these from will be more important to me then price. Customer service and respect is important to me. I do remember how people treat me for a long time.

The pressure washers will have Bigger boilers then our first one. We will hit 1.5 million BTU's and over 4,000 PSi with 3/4 inch coils. The units are being designed so that our sub's will have no problems understanding the units on their own. Each boiler is costing us $5,000 each plus tax. So 20k for 4 boilers.

These units will be designed to run a more low tek washer that every one understands. I will loose performance advantages by this down grade, but will gain several easy repair advantages as well. The ability to over clock and damage the pumps will be eliminated.

These four units have already been started. A fifth trailer with a vacuum unit is being designed as we speak with over 500+ CFM and a 200-250 gallon sludge tank. This unit will be able to have 4 units or hoses runing at the same time. No one on the market, that I am aware of, has this unit at the time I posts this. The unit will have Hydraulics as well.

Congrats Jim.....

When you talk about the units will be more tech friendly....do you have or had problems with the other unit(s) breaking down? You mention the ability to over clock and damage the pumps...I am assuming this was common in your current set up?

Looking forward to seeing them up close someday Jim.

Yes, Back in February, I was near the jobsite, but not on the jobsite, when the pumps was overclocked, causing damage to the pumps and the hydraulic system. I believe the RPM's was set for 3,900 instead of 1,750. This went on from the morning to the afternoon causing damage to key systems. The unit was never designed to run at those RPM's.

To prevent this from happening again, I would need to invest into some computers to take the Human error part out of the equation. This would cost several thousands of dollars. Money that is not really necessary if someone occasionally watches the equipment, both from a stand point for safety and mechanical reasons.

Hydraulics is still the best way to go, just pricey.

This new system I will make it similar to the to the current designs that Hydro Tek and Landa uses, just bigger.

So far, I am in well over 6 figures to build these rigs. Rigs that are necessary to meet the requirments that our newer clients demand.

Money is on the table asking us to clean to our standards. My training is almost complete with our new subs. All of my subs are required to keep their equipment looking presentable and well maintained. The days of me fixing and painting rigs in order to be on a jobsite are over. [idts]

We just bought our generators for the units. Since our units will have different types of generators, we had to go to more then one manufacture.

(2) Jenkin Diesels Generators rated at 12 KW with a full enclosure that is lockable and has a 22 gallon fuel tanks with all electrical gauges. The first one arrived the other day and weighs in at over 1,400 lbs.

(2) PTO 8 kw generators are being manufactured for us. They usually do not stock these types and had to order them.

Some company's do not take American Express or Visa anymore. So we have to write Company Checks. Personally, I only wrote checks for my subs. Haven't bought checks in years.
