What causes water in oil, in the pump? any help is appreciated.
S Scott Stone New Member Mar 19, 2006 #2 Bad oil seals. There are two sets of seals on the pump. One set are the pressure seals, and are often called the V-packing and the others are the oil seals. These need to be replaced, and really, it is not that hard to do.

V vandiesel99 New Member Mar 20, 2006 #4 If the pump freezes and the plunger cracks it can also lead to having water in the oil.
