Wet Sand/Soda Blasting

I've recently received a call from a company that manufactures very large propane storage tanks. They are looking for a contractor to sandblast/prime/paint a 30,000 gal propane tank. Such as one of the two shown:

I have never done any wet sandblasting(so I have a few questions) The painting part I can take care of. My question is the length of time to complete this project and some rough estimates on pricing.

They want the paint and rust stripped to bare metal then primed and painted.

Please don't take offense....but based on the information you provided I would suggest you pass on this and move on to something you have experience/knowledge about....And just so you want feel bad that is exactly what I would do...

That would be my suggestion, make your bid ridiculously high......if you get it, you can bring someone in with the experience to help you accomplishing two things; (1) the job is completed properly and (2) you get paid to learn how to do it yourself the next time it comes up.

Most likely I won't bid on it, but I definitely want to go take a look at it and see what they have going. I am always looking for ways to diversify and its always good to get a few jobs like this in your portfolio. :) But there are too many environmental concerns for me to adequately handle the situation.
