What to charge for stripping on parking lot?

Just cleaned a fairly large parking lot for a bank and now they want me to re-stripe their parking area. I can get a manual stripper cheap or use 1X4's, but I have no idea what to charge for this. Is 20 cents a ft. in line?

Going price is between 4-10 cents a foot.(lines)
Firelane 6-12 cents a foot.
Handicaps and arrows 4.00-10.00.

Dont do anything for free everything has
its price.

Good Luck

Got a guy started a couple of years ago. He has an easy way to figure the job. Each parking space is $10. Thatway he counts the spaces and adds a zero to the end to get his price. For symbols and signs he charges as a spot each with the ecception of a handycap it is $30 each.

Just keep in mind this is starting a complete new business. Parking lot repair, sealing and striping is very competative in most areas. Check out your local yellow pages to see what your area looks like.

Just check the water out before you dive in.

I considered it about 8 years ago, looked at the people doing it cost of equipment and passed.
