I've read about acid wash, but would like more info. on what type of acid to use? I'm trying to remove hard water stains from brick/cement.
Thanks

We use HYDROCHLORIC ACID........ 60 - 80 % with buffers added. The buffers make the acid not react with your skin. Apply it with a pump up sprayer, then rinse off. Just be very carefull when doing this, read all MSDS sheets and wear PPE's

I use Muriatic Acid (pool acid) probably the same thing walt said. I use a watering can and dilute it with water. Works awesome. Definitely be careful of burns and DO NOT WALK IN IT once it is applied itll eat the soles of your shoes. I found out the hard way, let it sit for a few and use plenty of water. (the sprayer will work like walt said for walls, I use the can for the ground).
