Whats your Power setup 4 Shurflows?

Right now I am using a Shurflow with a Shumacker battery Charger that puts out 12v via battery clips. It works fine but I understand new battery chargers have some saftey function built into them to prevent this type of use.

So I am wondering in case my charger bites the dust.

I know they make shurflows with 120volt and I know I can use a deep cell marine battery that weighs a ton. My setup right now works great and is light weight.

Not this model but something similar we see at auto shops. Think something like this will work or does anyone use something like this for thier shurflow?

Thanks Tim

Tim,
Get a small automotive battery and mount everything on a dolly.
A 600-700 amp battery is more than adequate. Charge weekly or as needed.

No,
I use a 12v deep cycle because many of the sites I go to don't have access to electricity.

Actually most have outlets, but are switched off via an inside switch, and even though I ask the customer in advance to make sure the electricity is on, they often forget.

That is the same reason I also bought some cordless power tools to use onsite.

Thanks for the replies guys. I did find something you guys mite want to check out in the Equipment Tips and Mods Forum.

The Dolly and heavy wieght of dragging the deep Cell Marine Battery around would not work in my truck setup room wise and back wise. :)
