    X-Jet Parts?

Anyone know where to get parts for the M5? I lost the clip that holds the adjuster on. I also need to get another hose and valve setup for it. I googled it but came up empty for replacement parts. Thanks, Steve

    Self Contained Water Supply

Ah, interesting. Yes the pump is above the water outlet but I can't remedy that because the water outlet on the tank is at the very bottom. I would have to mount the pump below the trailer to get it below the water outlet. If I move the outlet higher, I lose water capacity.

    Self Contained Water Supply

OK it is a direct drive unit so I need a pump. DO I need to match the GPM of the unit? I know that seems like a simple question but I am having a hard time finding a 4.0 GPM pump that I can afford. Thanks

    Self Contained Water Supply

A question about self-contained water. I have a trailer with a 275 gl. water tank. The water is gravity fed into the washer. I am wondering if I need a water pump to supply the PW because when I let off the trigger there is a great deal of vibration (which doesnt happen when hooked to city...

How Many Window Washers Out There?

Good advice. As you gain more experience learn the "swirl." the blade only touches the glass one time and no streaking. Plus, it cuts the cleaning time in 1/3. Steve

How Many Window Washers Out There?

Screens? Take the screen off and toss it to the ground. Collect them all up, lean them against the garage and power wash and treat them with Winsol Screen Cleaner & Sealant. Let them dry and replace them. I almost never put a dirty screen back over a clean window unless a customer insists...

    Power Wash Bloopers

Uhh, here's one. I am washing this white vinyl fencing around a horse corral and I thought that the woman understood that I needed her to put the horses away. Anyway I drive into the corral and shut the gate. After starting my machine, out comes three horses walking over to me. As I'm...

    Water Brooms

I have one and I use it all the time. I like it and really would hate to be without it. The wheels make it easy to maneuver and handle and it cleans well in my opinion. I spent $80 bucks I think and my ROI is around 5 times that this summer.

    Residential Powerwashing Question

I personally don't see anything wrong with that $999 unit from Lowe's. Like I said I have one and have paid for it 5 times over this summer. I change the oil frequently and take care of it. I am in window cleaning business and offer PW as a additional service. It is extremely profitable...

    Residential Powerwashing Question

I have that same machine and don't have any complaints. It has an Anno Reverberi pump and mine works well. So far, I am very happy with it.

    Cold Water Unit

I started with a 2400 PSI 2.0 GPM machine that I kept in my van. Mind you I am primarily a window cleaning contractor but I had a few customers that wanted small areas cleaned. I did one whole house that was DryVit and paid for my machine. I continued making money with that little gadget all...

    Driveway done(yea)

I appreciate the advise but I can't afford the surface cleaner right now because I am primarily a window cleaning contractor but also do small power wash jobs. once in a while, a customer really wants something like a driveway done but not often. Usually it's just a walkway or patio. I use...

    Metering valve

Thanks a bunch. I might still be able to use it in another application. It sound like a vast improvement over the standard injector that comes on the machine. Steve

    Gauging an x-jet

To me they are a reall hassle to keep track of and then to change on the fly. I will use a gutter cleaner and then a house wash which both have different dilution rates. Changing the orifice is a time consuming delay to me. I'm thinking of getting another x-jet so I can both set up for a...
