Rick,

No actually this guy doing this job is higher than most. He’s not giving the employees proper training.

Your right the concrete is also substandard, we as pw still have a responsibility to test the areas and not damage the concrete. I know you realize that. I see this type of work every where I go.

I remember this post. It's funny when these old post come up they have a way of coming back to you.

So Ron do you think much has changed all these years with the industry? I say yes mainly because of the net. Just today I saw a new company driving around with a wrap on there Van and it looks like they checked the Internet and now there the pro's.

Good to hear that people see this everywhere. We were thinking it is just really bad in Naples, FL. Companies just don't want to pay anymore, so they will always go with the cheaper bid, then they get what they pay for. But the stupid thing is, they do the same again next time, will they ever learn?
We have seen a large Property Management Company pressure washing a customers driveway, he couldn't get the water to drain off the sidewalk, so what did he do? he got his hammer and dug two messy channels through the grass, he then left all the dirty water to drain itself, so he was left with a large patch of mud on the sidewalk.
He also managed to splash all his dirty water onto the sidewalk we had just pressure washed and drained perfectly.
It is about time clients stop accepting shoddy work from these cheap, couldn't care less companies and do something about it.

I have actually made out from these types that do stuff like this.
I had a guy one time hired a couple kids to wash his house, thought I was fulla
when I told him I could save it. A free demo got me looking like a miracle
worker! It's like anyone who buys a washer is a pressure washer now, same as anyone who picks up a paintbush is now a painter.
I paid my dues to get here. made mistakes, and never hurt my rep. as I backed it all up one way or another. I seen gys walk off and say, I can't help you, after getting paid. I don't charge for bad service! If I can't do it, its free!
