Dan Flynn - Senior Section instead of # of posts?

That aside I have a concern or two about the private area and how it is going to be run. One concern is if a member POs someone and that person wants you kicked out all he has to do is ask his buddies to back him up and your out, what safeguards are there to make sure your not kiked out just because someone does not like how your nose looks? or how you talk or for whatever reason?
Second concern is I can almost guess who the chosen ones are if they must have years of experience and I think what a couple others are saying is if only those allowed into the exclusive members area are going to share their secrets with each other that leaves the rest of us out cold. We would all like to know those secrets so we can all be more experienced and last as many years.
Try to put yourself in our place, how would you feel if you knew that the truly experiences have their own "hidden" room and they are giving each other TOP SECRETS away, but only to each other? I truly think you would feel left out and not be happy about it, in time you might even say this board discriminates against the newer members or people getting into the business.
So you can understand me a bit better, I am not on an ego trip so it won't bother me as much to not be in on the "top hat" group but others will feel your are not being fair, Rob and Craig I am sure felt hurt when they got banned from Delco, I know Craig did, and I know how Rob feels since we have spoken about it on the phone.
Now to say something Scott Stone said, I cannot wait for the day I have enough experience to offer to teach others flat work and whatever else I might branch out to do.
Now this is for Kevin, STOP packing, Scott is not going to put up your whole family, he has one already and at times pulls his hair over them!
Kevin I have told you if your wife kicks you back out to the dog house I have a guest room here, for one person only and only when my mother-in-law is not using it

I really think that Kevin might like Mama. If I remember right she can be quite the character. If he wants to come to my house I can recommend several fine hotels in the beautiful Mesa area. It got to 69 today so it was a little cold.
As for the private board, Comments similar to Rons are part of the reason that it is somewhat appealing to me. I for one get realy tired of the people that whine if they are not included or do not understand something. I have even been bashed in the past for answering posts on a BBS. It kind of turns me off personally, and really unwilling to answer future posts. I do put up with it though because I was taught two things really young.
1. You have to crawl before you can walk and walk before you can run.
2. The only time that you have use on the path of life is if you make it easier for those that follow.
On edit: I do think that it is interesting that the people that complain the loudest and hardest about the "private" board are those that have never posted on any of the BBS's that I can remember. Maybe they want to just take without giving a little?

Congrats, your now one of the chosen few, who just got escorted to the door, and tossed on your can. Yes, that is what it says, when your OUT!!! I believe that i participated well on the other board, and although i speak my mind, i only once lost my cool. I knew it when i clicked on send, that i shouldn't have done it. I wasn't banned for that, i was banned for making a strong arguement that the other board was only there to make a buck, not for further education of the industry. I am not a veteran of this industry. Only starting my 3rd year, but as the ole song goes "I will get by with a little help from my friends". I consider all of you my friends, whether you like me or not. There is nothing i would not do to help any of you, nor will i stand for anyone getting verbally abused. Just the way i was brought up and its the Christian way. Life on earth is short, we all know that, to short to whine and bicker all the way thru it.
Dan, You the Man!!! I admire the Dan's, Chris Detter's, Scott Stone's, etc. in this industry, When i grow up, I want to be the man. Till then, i will serve my time in the learning stage, and keep focused. My family depends on me, and i will not let them down.
Sorry about the long post, but it is time we all stopped sweating the little stuff and put 110% effort into the business.
