Include flyer in with estimate.

I have several different flyers that I made for different services and whenever I do an estimate I put the flyer in with it.Example: if I get a call for deck cleaning and sealing and they have a fence I put a flyer in there that emphasizes a fence cleaning special.Or if I see that there siding is dirty I have flyers with different house washing prices(depends on house size and if I want the job bad enough)Or I have a flyer that offers a 15% multiple service discount then I name all the services I do.You would be surprised how many customers go for extra work,especially if you have flyers made up with a firm price on it (have several made up for a lot of different situations)This really works good and I encourage any one to try it.

When I go on an estimate I estimate everything I want to cleaning. Seperate them individually and state that if they are interested in having other things done we would be happy to do the additional estimates as well. I pick up extra work all the time like this.

Sometimes customers do not realize that other things can be cleaned.

Hey guys,

Even though I do the home shows for my wood stain manufacturer, I still have a brightly colored flyer I hand out to people walking through the show.

I bid two decks yesterday and went to all of the neighboring houses and put a flyer on every door...got two more calls last night for bids today.

Go to a local pizza shop and ask them to put flyers on their boxes. 12 jobs from that last year!! One of those jobs turned into a money making account. The guy was the VP of operations for 27 restaurants in Pittsburgh area. I do the drive-thrus every quarter and the exhaust systems are going to be mine when the contract they have expires. That is every quarter also.
I will whack 'em out at the same time. You never know who you are talking to!!

JR, good idea with the pricing structures on the flyer, mine is just a general list of services available.
