<font color=e87400>I can do a repair in about 5 minutes maybe a little less. I have air tools on my rig, I use a die grinder to cut it & an impact drill to run the fitting on, I do it on a vice mounted to my bed. bing bang boom done. I much rather have it repaired in the field right when it breaks than later. Fixing later takes more time by far & only servers to add "one more thing" to an already overburdened to-do list!
One point of note though, it's been my experience that the term "reusable" hose fittings must actually refer to being able to reuse a hose after it's broken, because 9 times out of 10 the reusable ends break when I try to take them apart to reuse again! I've gotten to the point where I don't even try to take them apart, I just toss em. Even so, they are well worth the money.
