Hi all. We run 2 vans with hot water skids, double stack hose reels and 230 water tanks. We have been in business for 10 years and unfortunaley had a fire in on e of the vans that the fire dept. thinks started by or near the battery for our machine. Has anyone ever heard of this? The van was inside doors open, alarm on nothing around it that had any spark. Luckily the sprinklers held the fire to the van and some other equipment and noone got hurt and the building did not burn down.
My second question is we are getting new truck and equipment and wanted to find out if anyone had a ny better van setups? especially how you exhaust your equip?
approx 1 foot behind seats we have the water tank (running width wise acroos van) about 1' behind that we have the skid and the reels are by left back door. We have a stack attached to the burner and a small exhaust inot the stack from the engine and vent mounted on the roof. I would like a flexible exhaust that fits snug to the burner.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. We are always looking to improve.
Thanks,
Eric
