I also use simple green or a product similar to it. cleaning it with a soft rag and simple green makes it look nice. its the only things i have found that works.

What are you guys charging for travel time and how. by miles or actual travel time? I have a job to bid on and i never charge travel time, but this is one of my main accounts and they want me to services thier other offices. thanks jonathan

ok i finally got fuel coming out. It was the solenoid. the new pump i ordered came with one that was 110 so i put the old one back on and fuel started flowing out. Now i gotta wait till the morning to fire up the washer and make sure that it heats up.

I did all that you mentioned and yes its a 2 line system. Could it be the pressure/flow switch by any chance not allowing the soleniod to energize fully?

Did the home owner put a sealant on it at anytime? Does it dissapear when wet?

Mark i am sad to say after putting that screw in still no fuel coming out. I really thought that was it. So for some reason the solenoid is not opening i guess. Unless you can think of something else. By the way thank you for the phone support.

I thought it was the fuel pump also. thats why i ordered this one. its brand new. clean cut fuel pump. Thats why im thinking it might be the flow switch or thermostat. but im not sure. thats why im here

I flipped on the switch while the pressure washer was runnning. The blower comes on and the fuel pump circulates fuel.

i replaced the solenoid and im still not getting fuel out. I checked it with a screw driver and it seems to be magnitizing. Could it not be working all the way. Could the thermostat or flow switch not working properly to give it enough power? Let me know thanks

I think i got it narrowed down to the fuel solenoid. Where can i get one. Is there a certain way to test it?

Pressure Switch ?

I just tried to check the solenoid with a light tester and nothing, but then i checked the thermostat and im not getting anything out of that. Im going to wait till the morning and do some more testing.

Well mark i just did what you said to take out the fuel line from the pump to where it goes into the burner and i turned it on and very little fuel came out. How much fuel is supposed to come out? Could the solenoid be bad? How do u check it?

It doesnt really smoke, i may have stated that wrong its almost clear when it was burning every so often you would let out some white some but not very often. As far as the battery goes i just put in a new one because the last one was bad. Anyother ideas?
