If your replying to me Mike I have said I have nothing againest the pwna or any group trying to better things.

Just thought interesting if they had a turn over or if they ran again for another term.I can remember some of those guys in office now where put in office by alot of non-members pushing them on.This may have been before your time tho, alot of good guys in office now.I know some will tell me to join if I want to know, just wondering if they had to past the hat after the set number of years.Never know heck I may join to run for office and the next thing you know you'd be wanting to run for office too :).

Any group will listen nomattter if your interested or not,its how they get members, how they better things.Alot of good ideals comes from members and non-members alike.

Larry,

PWNA's By-Laws have been changed and voted on by the membership. Terms for board members are 3 years. In three years board members either get voted to the executive board or move off the board to allow new people in. In the past we had a rotation of board members (3 in, 3 out) but now we are being a bit more aggressive (4in, 4 out) with a 3 year term limit.

Thank you Doc

I know it takes time to build a backbone for a group trying to better things.I think in time the pwna will have a strong backbone with the help of the internet webbing across the states. When the pwna gets to where they can have a officer in each state it will be a hard group to handle. All this will take time,I know three years seems like a long time but in some cases its not long enough.Like a home owner having to face a different contractor every three years whether he liked it or not.

push on..

season greetings.

Yes,it answers my Q'tion,thanks beth.

The reason I was wondering if Jon was running is b/c he was a beleiver a non-beleiver and a beleiver is a few short years. What better person would you want all wrapped up in one package.Besides dat,Luckyboy has always wanted more than his moneys worth nomatter what he was buying, this could be good for all members.

How many openings are they?,its interesting,Do they have several people trying fill just one opening?

Wondered what kind of challenge it was to win a spot in the openings.

Doc and Mike won a spot so it must be easy :) j/k,beth just talked her way in lol.

Joy to the world

We have learned that PWNA Board Members are still at square one. After years of the same problems. We have learned that the PWNA is not willing to bend on the same ol leave it alone status. We have learned that Clean County is really really really running for a board seat. We have learned that we live in a country that does not allow you to speak your mind or make the slightest comment without getting trashed and deleted. Oh, by the way, the next time I hear honky, I am suing. Just my 3 cents.

I hope that the PWNA board members take some of the advise that members say they like to hear and apply it.

Doc,

I do not mean any of my replies personally. So, please do not take it as such. Believe it or not, I respect those like yourself that give your time to associations etc.... Myself, I am involved with Boy Scouts and have in the past been a Cubmaster of Cubscouts. As we can all see, this same subject about PWNA and the need to increase enrollment needs to improve. But as non-members have said time and time again why they do not feel a need to join, no one listens. This is the problem. This conversation always will get attention regardless of how many times it is talked about but something needs to change.

Maybe someone will start another association for you guys/gals to realize something needs to change. I believe some of the folks on the board are real winners and have allot to give to the PWNA and I hope to see this happen. As we all can see, your heart appears to be in it and I hope the one upstairs (God) leads you in the right direction.

This will be my last post until after the Holidays due to out of town reasons and I hope you and yours have a very pleasant Christmas.

I think the pwna is doing a outstanding job with what they have to work with, not meaning any personal.

They should move forward without backing up,to me a drop in membership price was a step backwards. They are not only trying to make the powerwashing trade more profitable in its profitably but making it safer to get a drink of water.

The only reason they get pushed around is b/c of its small group, when the group gets bigger in numbers which they will, their demands will be felt thoughout powerwashing land.

I think the wholesalers of powerwashers and eqt. is their biggest bridge to cross over and in time that too will be no problem, its the biggest battle they have.

It takes money to go to washington to demand their wants,OR a woman.

Right on the money! I totally agree with your post about the biggest bridge.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!!!

Thank you all. Happy Holiday's! If you want to talk, feel free to give me a ring. We don't have to discuss PWNA. If any of you are in the Chicago or Milwaukee area come on over, do not be shy.
