Quick question for Jerry....
This Certification....where will it be recognized as a certification? For me, BASMAA would be the agency that I would want to pitch the achievement of getting this certification.....will it be recognized by them as being in "compliant". What about Level I, Level II & Level III Municipalities?

Carlos, You're best to contact Jerry personally, as by admission, he has zero time to spend on the bbs's so he is probably unaware that this post is even here.

The context of the program is the equipment side..
we won't be going into the differences between cities and counties.
We'll be covering everything from the "fact of" ..Nothing goes to the storm drain,
to "HOW TO" PERFORM wash water control, efficiently,
for the BEST POSSIBLE WorkSpeed.
When you understand the JobSite, and the Tools,
YOU get to MOVE FAST,
and MAKE MONEY.
I have seen MOST of this industry flounder through the management of the equipment.
IF you want the "bugs out" of your system,
or to just do it RIGHT the first time,
this event is for YOU.
EVERYone that has come to my showroom,

I already asked about this certification. Other then getting this cert to say you " Took a class to learn how to use Jerry's /Sirocco equipment or to see a demonstration of the units that you may or may not want". There is no added value to the certification on a professional level.
If your sole purpose is to learn how to use Jerry's equipment, then I think this would be a good thing and those who are interested in buying his units should attend. I think this would be a very good thing for contractors who want to learn how to use a Sirocco system. To understand its limits and strengths.
On the same token, one needs to be aware that No Government agency that I talked to recently here in N. California recognize a Sirocco certification. If you are going for the sole purpose to advertise that you are certified by Jerry's company, I would re-think the reasoning.

I think these companies that offer their knowledge for a fee is not a necessary a bad thing. These companies obviously are doing well and would like to teach what they have learned to others. Though some are on the BBS boards almost daily, which supposedly is the purpose of being on these BBS, that is, to learn from each other, sometimes is not good enough and needs a hands on approach. This approach is only an asset if the knowledge that these private companies teaching their previous experience is to be an asset to the individuals they give their certificates to.
