Mathew, If you can answer questions 1-6 post them here . why make him call `ya?
Im sure we would all like to hear it.

I am trying to be careful about what I post. Over the past 6 months I have seen stuff taken out of context that has been posted on the BBS by me and others, I have been personally attacked and chastized on BBS for stuff that I had nothing to do with and I it seems that some people dissect data posted just to find fault and critisize.

I asked him to call me for two reasons. One, I wanted to meet him and put the name to a voice and two, I wanted to open up two way communication to make sure the message I was sending was the same message recieved.

Yes, thats the gist of it.

No offense taken at all. I know that many of us have had our comments taken incorrectly and that's why I'm also careful of how I post. Yes the PWNA wants to grow it's membership and expand but don't we all want the same for our companies? How would you feel if someone with no vested interest decided to question your procedures or how you run your company when they won't even take the time to make a simple phone call and ask you in person? The boards are a wonderful resource to some but we've had phones for much longer and I personally think they work much better. However nothing is better than meeting in person!

If anyone has any questions for me about anything just give me a call. It will save us all a lot of time posting, reading posts and replying and reading between the lines. Then you can find out anything you want to know in just 5 minutes instead of the days we bouncing things back and forth on the boards. I know some of you want "everything" in print but I just don't have time or the energy to do it. I'm lousy at grammar and spelling and I have a company to run and a family to take care of.

I applaud Brian D for wanting to know enough to spend that $3.00 to answer all his questions, I hope he found the information he was looking for and if not, let me know and I will call you.

Hi Dan S. Your right the answer is no mainly because of the way the question is asked. IF it said "Can an org. help you with your business?" then the answer would be yes...How's good ole PA. doing?? Do you know Tom Vogel who owns ACR Products?? He is in your neck of the woods somewhere. He's a great guy.

Just thought of something.

The Question asked >>>>>>>>> "DO you really need a orginazation to help your business?"

There are more "NO"S" then YES"S

WHich brings me to this >>>>>

Which says to me that we dont need an Org. To be in bussiness ........... The Org. needs us. SO they need to start doing something to make it better ................... And John, please dont name all the crap that the PWNA does it really has'nt changed since this Question was first asked.

Keep looking for ~yo thread!

Hey Dan--Don't you find it interesting how this thread seems to pop up every now and then as a new post. Years from now when guys like us have moved on this type of Question will still be raised about Org's.

I can say this..its fun hanging out at the Conventions with my fellow Powerwashers and once again I had a blast...and it beats working ;)

It pops up every now and then without a new post because someone answers the poll, but doesn't post in the thread.

Face it, some don't need an org, some do. Why does it bother you that some don't?

i could personally care less ,im shure it would help with training and furthering education and all but lets face it to me the best education is in the trenches where we sweat everyday, besides i was gonna join pwna and had a question and they never returned any of our phone calls so i am a G.D.I.!!!!!!!

That makes sense as to why the thread pops up every now and then. What I can't figure out is why some old post pop up that no one has answered recently and there is no poll attached to it. What would cause that to happen?? I'm guessing maybe when someone reads an old post it causes it to pop up as a new post except that wouldn't make sense because searches are done here everyday and those post searched don't pop as new post.

Scip it I'm just rambeling at my other job in the computer room with time to kill.........

I still say yes but I'm no longer affiliated with any suppose "not for profits" because of all the political drama and pipe dreams they have.

Today I belong to fhe PWRA because for one they have a ton of AWESOME benefits that work great for my business and there is no political anything with this group. Its all about benefitting your business when you join these groups and that's where I'm at today. Pipe dreams are just that.

That's the key right there. Doing what is right for your business. Not every org or association is for everyone, profit or not for profit. UAMCC is at over 500 contributing members right now, along with 2000 something FREE members....It's been great watching this org grow and seeing the many contractors it's helped be successful. With the many choices out there for contractors to choose from, everyone should get involved in not only as how they see it benefit their business, but more importantly how they can help the org (not for profit) succeed.

True Doug but just to clarify what Scott Stone said earlier that needs correction as usual.... The only place anywhere I'm banned from as many are is the UAMCC org and PWI which you head above Scott. Stop banning people and maybe the Robert Hinderliter created UAMCC will earn some respect. So stop the nonsense and stop banning people so you can benefit soley from this org. For a suppose not for profit this is wrong as Scott knows and I think you would to.... But it looks like you just dont care.
Lift the lifetime bans you have on contractors!!

John,
if you think that you were banned to benefit the UAMCC, you are truly a narcissist. You have been banned on multiple forums, at one time or another. The only person that I have ever seen speciously ban somebody, on any forum, has involved you, as an instigator. On PWI, there are a total of 14 people banned. 7 of those that were banned involved some sort of Spam. Only one has been banned in the past year, and before that it was another two years. When you were banned, it was a consensus of the moderators. In fact, I was the one holding out of all the mods, until you crossed the line one more time. There was actually a battle going on in the mod section. Of course, that is not important to you, because, gosh darn it, you are John.
Incidentally, it was not Doug that banned you on PWI. It was me. I did it on January 28, 2013 and I have no intention of reversing the ban, either. Sometimes, the willingness to recognize and admit you were wrong goes a long way. I never see that happening in your case.

Scott you mispoke again. You banned me 4x on PWI just to show you could. Doug banned me, my business and ultimately my wife (because like yours, she is the majority owner), For life from the UAMCC when he was self appointed to the VP slot. He made it clear to some that if the opportunity ever came he would do this..and he did.. Total Joke because we gave the UAMCC alot of our effort outside donated money to help bring it to guys like yourself.

As far as being banned anywhere else... Yes I was from TGS after you received a lifetime ban from TGS PWC PWNA and other boards. She asked me to take the 30 day ban in the midst of this just to quite the "Rotten storm you and your boss brought in.

End Result Scott is I'm at the PWRA event now in DC & was personally invited by Beth for dinner tonight where your pretty much not welcomed. Your behavior was very unprofessional attacking her and others because of your personal Jelousy over Jim Gamble that us guys said where never going to intervene with your dislikes for people.

So in closing its infortunate you changed as a person aftera few of us recommended for you to get those bus accounts when you came to us for referrals. This is your problem to deal with as to why you turned on Beth & I when we did what you asked. Also I dont care if you ever lift my ban at PWI since you ran it into the ground since I left.

The UAMCC though is different. Im here with Eric & Lisa Steitz are here as well & I may vent to her about how my my wife were wronged here but go no further just

Since my edit button isnt working correctly part of the above is out and some areas mangled. In closing though I think its wrong to Doug to ban me, my business and my wife for life there (like your wife she is part owner so banning our business bans her) because of his personal dislike for us. Knowing what we did to bring tbis org to you guys by our donations of money & more importantly our time and all to be dismised for life by him... Is wrong. Im here with Eric & Lisa Steitz & I may have a discussion with her later about this because how this is all wrong.. but I will not ask for reinstatement when Your President wants us out forever. So in closing I will not promote the uamcc to anyone in a positive light unless Dougs Personal and terrible actions is corrected by him.

You live in an interesting world. One where truth is totally distorted. What is it like living the twilight zone? By the way, I am banned nowhere. There are a lot of places I don't participate because I choose not to. There is a reason for that.
As for being jealous of Jim. Thanks for the laugh. The poor guy can't even pay for the equipment he ordered. You will be happy to know, that instead of being broke, like he tells everyone, I am doing very well, and all my trucks are paid for. Every single one. For me, being jealous of Jim is an idea that is ridiculous.

Incidentally, I have never attacked Beth. The worst thing I did was give her the same treatment she gave me, when you were attacking me and banning me for no reason other than being petty.
