I buy it from my local chem company in a 50 percent dillution. It has some rinsing aids etc. I think it cost around 50 dollars maybe as high as 80 for 5 gallons which can be dilluted a lot.

I try to only do light rinses on Asphalt as it gets to messy to directly clean with all the dirt that comes out, you end up not even being able to see where you are cleaning. Most of the topcoats if they are going to do one will go over dirt as long as it is just light or normal dirt.

If it is really asphalt you don't want to use a degreaser it will eat asphalt. Cement is OK

Seems like a thickening agent might lessen the cappillary action that would draw the soap into the material needing to be emmulsified. Just a thought

I have also heard of using a tennis ball that way if you drop the wand the ball will fall out and the gun will shut off!

I can usually only get two story's at best with my 24 foot extension since you have to be at an angle to the wall (away from the wall a ways) you loose quite a bit of height. Thanks again Jeremy

When using strippers like sodium hydroxide do people put plastic over the house so the overspray doesn't hurt the glass or discolor-strip the paint on the house. I am always really concerned when I apply a stripper. Thanks Jeremy
